Closing Out 2025 & Digital Marketing Predictions for 2026

We’re continually grateful at Day One for our clients, partners, and team that make the work we do each year so rewarding. And, as we do every year, we wanted to take some time to close out the year and highlight what went well, projects we loved working on, and what we’re looking forward to next year, including some of our digital marketing predictions for 2026.

  • New client case studies—see how we transformed a practice’s online presence, helped a practice establish a new location, and increased patient engagement for a practice.

And we continued to show up and participate in speaking engagements throughout the year. 2025 was a success in so many ways, and we’re excited for what 2026 is going to bring.

Day One’s 2026 Digital Marketing Predictions

Speaking of the new year, we’re looking ahead and making some digital marketing predictions of our own for 2026. While we believe AI is here to stay, we also know that connection matters.

One of our predictions is that there will need to be a balance between using AI strategically while continuing to build on thought leadership and content creation. What we believe is going to continue is the need to show up more consistently on the platforms where your patients are.

We also predict that community-driven content is going to be big, meaning that you want to be focusing on what your patients want, and extend the community you’ve created in person to an online brand presence and experience that current and future patients can participate in. 

Additionally, omnichannel marketing will play a larger role in 2026. Strategies will need to be integrated into marketing plans to reach and communicate with current and future patients across multiple channels, including video, voice, and other interactive mediums.

With the rise of AI, and more practices wanting to be prominently featured in search engines, video, particularly short-form video content, is going to continue to be on the rise as well. 

And, more than anything, understanding what your patients want is going to be crucial for creating content. While we will still have SEO, we’ll also have GEO (Generative Engine Optimization). GEO will focus on optimizing AI-generated answers and summaries, so for your content to show up in search results, you’ll need to create content that can work everywhere.
